In my long, twisting journey of figuring out my soul, I’ve found myself more and more drawn to expression, to let each piece I find glow and speak on the outside as much as the inside. This past year, especially, that’s led me down a number of creative paths and discovering (and rediscovering!) an artistic side to myself I hadn’t been too connected with since my very early teens. Goodness knows why, because I’ve always had a lot to say and had a deep deep love for poetry, for art, for writing and generally, for creating. So, if you, too, find yourself a little lacking on the creative front or if you’re just looking for something fun to do, here’s my list of artistic hobbies to try.

“To be creative means to be in love with life. You can be creative only if you love life enough that you want to enhance its beauty, you want to bring a little more music to it, a little more poetry to it, a little more dance to it.” – Osho

Besides giving us new skills, hobbies make our free time more fulfilling and exciting, which especially right now, still in the dragging days of lockdown and winter is much needed 😊

Enjoy! Love, Ella-Rose xx
