It’s been a recent goal of mine to broaden my horizons, finding new hobby ideas and really get started with them. I’ve noticed in the last few weeks, especially during this period of self-isolation, that when left alone for a few hours, and attempting to avoid work, that I end up feeling pretty lost. And from what I can tell, that seems to be a common feeling for lots of people. I love working but, after periods of burnout, I’ve realised the value in hobbies and relaxation.
And as I embark on this mission, I’ve decided to make something of a series of it on the blog so we can all do it together. The first post went up last week, where we discussed how to finding inspiration for new hobbies. Coming up with ideas is step two. So, I’ve got just over 150 ideas for you. Let’s brainstorm, shall we?
“Today is life-the only life you are sure of. Make the most of today. Get interested in something. Shake yourself awake. Develop a hobby. Let the winds of enthusiasm sweep through you. Live today with gusto.” – Dale Carnegie
