As the days have all too quickly begun to get shorter again, how can you turn your bleary-eyed mornings into times you’ll actually enjoy? To be quite honest, with the bleak, grey summer that we’ve had here in the UK, even this summer’s mornings have been lacking in the motivation department. So, in this blog, we’re going to talk through how to start your morning off right – morning person or not.
“Every morning was a cheerful invitation to make my life of equal simplicity, and I may say innocence, with Nature herself.” – Henry David Thoreau
1. Stop saying you hate mornings
This is step number one and one you might be tempted to scroll past, but so often our enjoyment of things is tinged by our perspective, if you see the morning as the tired, groggy period of your day that only means dragging yourself out of bed and rushing around readying yourself for the day, there’s not much you can do to find the appeal there. So, once you’ve spiced up your mornings a bit (see the next few tips), make sure to try to enjoy it ~ where there’s a will there’s a way.
